About the Artist

To touch what is heard with the eyes: translation acts as a way of

seeing. My work explores the connections between painting,

sculpture and sound by inventing logical systems to analyze and

quantify values. I use sensors to interact with the objects I have

created and the space in which they occupy in order to translate

them into an aural composition. The images themselves are derived

from sound, painting, and architecture. In particular from the

formalist modern period; all of which were early explorations into

the relationship between image, space and sound. I have taken them

into an entirely new realm through the use and creation of

technology. Senses are connected; merged and synthesized into a

singular experience.
